The IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV) is the most prestigious conference in the domain of computer vision held every two years with approximately 750-1000 participants. The 12th issue is scheduled to take place in Kyoto, Japan between September 27 and October 4, 2009.
ICCV2009 invites experts to present tutorials which will take place on September 27 and 28, 2009, at Kyoto University. Tutorials are usually half-day with the option of full day courses for wider scope topics. They aim to address a specific topic in computer vision and are supposed to provide a comprehensive overview of the topic. The audience is mostly graduate students and young researchers from academia and/or industry. The topic should be of sufficient relevance with respect to the state of the art and the course should rather be educating and/or promoting than just a survey of techniques.
The proposal should include:
Proposals should be submitted in text form by email to the tutorial chairs, Peter Sturm (Peter.Sturm(at)inrialpes.fr) and Akihiro Sugimoto (sugimoto(at)nii.ac.jp), before April 20, 2009.
